There are many convenient ways for you to donate to your church including pre-authorized remittance (PAR) administered through The United Church of Canada, cheques mailed or dropped off in person cash dropped off in person(please let us know in advance to expect you due to limited office hours due to Covid-19), Interac e-Transfer, CanadaHelps where we have an account, we also have an account with Return It, simply give them the church’s phone number and they will credit the church with the value of your returned bottles.
At Shiloh-Fifth, we celebrate and welcome diversity in all its forms including race, gender, sex, and socio-economic position. We also recognize the diversity of gifts present in our community of faith and we welcome and support our community members in sharing their gifts with us. Some, but not all members of our community are able to share their financial gifts with us. We are fortunate to have a legacy of generosity from the saints who have established our community on solid finances, as well as sound theology centred on the God's abundant love for us all. If you are not able to share financially with us, consider sharing your time and talents. Even if you are unsure of your talents, or which talents to share, your presence is a gift to our community.
Because we are a registered Canadian charity, a tax receipt can be provided if requested. Our financial statements are available in our annual report, or on request.
PRE-AUTHORIZED REMITTANCE
If you have automatic withdrawals from your bank account to pay your bills, taxes, or mortgage, then you already understand the PAR principle.
Besides being convenient, using PAR for your offering ensures regular monthly givings to help our church’s ministry even when you are away. You will be providing our congregation a dependable flow of contributions, which increases our overall financial stability.
Please fill out the attached form and submit it to the church office for processing.
You can indicate on the form how much your gift to your church will be, and how much you would like to give to transform and save lives, inspire meaning and purpose, and build a better world through Mission & Service.
A dependable flow of contributions helps keep the church, and most importantly the good work the church does, on financially stable ground.
INTERAC E-TRANSFER
Exact steps vary by individual bank or credit union, but the process will always be simple. Just log into your online bank account, navigate to the Interac e-Transfer section and follow the instructions.
Please use the church’s email address, and create a deposit password question. Remember, capitalization counts! Separately, ensure the office will have the answer for the password question so we may receive your donation.
In the memo area, please let us know what the donation is for: Tithing, Mission and Service, Broadview or Camp Spirit are examples.
There may be a fee from your financial institution for using the Interac e-Transfer service. Please check with your bank or credit union directly.

Go to an Express depot (such as the one in Sapperton), at the kiosk use our phone number (6o4) 522-3443 to log in and print your labels, one per bag.
Place a label on each of your bags and leave them in the bag drop area.
Return It will sort your containers and credit our Express account with your donation within 5 business days.
